How do you interface to the bare glass LCD for $0.20?
Can zebra strips be obtained cheaply? (I have no idea.) I wonder if it would work to just press the conductor-side of the glass against a PCB directly … I’d think that the PCB wouldn’t be flat / conformable enough, but it’d be worth a try…
