Cannot access Jupyter Notebooks on Jetbot AI Kit

  1. Our load from Sparkfun of the Ubuntu distro requires a password to start Jupyter Notebooks. It is supposed to be “jetson” but it refuses us.

  2. We downloaded a new copy of the Jetson software, and we did gain entry into Jupyter Notebooks. We copied the folder of files from the Sparkfun microSD. However … we get stopped by Jupyter running the files as it cannot locate the expected packages to import … the first needed for the “basic motion” is not found. We had to copy the files over from the original microSD included that we could get into Jupyter Notebooks on. But the new Jetson copy that allows us into Jupyter Notebooks it doesn’t see these files be brought over.

  3. We have the USB Wifi dongle in the robot, but cannot detect it’s presence or load it. Maybe this is again due to the new download.

We need a image file to reflash the microSD as it asppears ours has a problem. Others using your kit in our project around the world are NOT having the same problem. We have tried contacting Sparkfun to no avail.

The password should be jetbot

I believe, Nvidia also provides documentation for over-riding the password, if needed.
