Can't use JTAG TINY with FW430 application

Can’t program with Tiny-JTAG adapter.

I’m using a laptop without a parallel (LPT) port. I installed the Tiny JTAG driver as instructed, and the installation worked fine. I can now see the Tiny-JTAG installed as USB controller using XP device manager.

When trying to program with FW430, the command buttons are constantly grayed and not usable.

How does the FW430 detect the Tiny-JTAG?

What am I doing wrong?

FW430 = Flash Works programming application by IAR

I can’t see this on IAR web page.

if you download IAR Embedded Workbench Kickstart Version 3 (Rev. K), Flash Works is the programming tool coming with it.
