Cathode LED

I am building a mouse and it is my first big electronics project and it calls for (2) 3mm bi-color Cathode LEDs, but I didn’t see any LEDs on the site that were labeled as Cathode that matched what the LEDs in the projects look like and the size.

Any advice would be great.

I think they mean common cathode LEDs. I don’t think sparkfun carries any of those but they are common parts and shouldn’t be hard to find at other electronics stores.

Thanks for the feedback. I was hoping SparkFun carried them simply because I don’t need 100 of them, lol. I found some on Amazon, but I’ll be paying $12 for 100 of each when I only need 1 of each.

You could add a few other items to your cart and stock up, that helps on the shipping a bit.
