Hi, I want to make a PCB with female headers which will mate with a couple of SF products (open log, accels and gyros, etc.) Is there an easy way to take the boards that SF provides the schematics for and drop them into my design so that I have the spacing correct for headers, and outlines of the boards?
You’d need the SFE PCB files for that. I very much doubt it they will give them to you, although they might produce versions with just the board outline and connector placements if enough people request them. They could be used like templates and imported into a design. I did something like that for the Arduino, for the PCB software I use.
They are PCB files. I don’t know about Eagle, but I can import those into Pulsonix, edit them, and create blocks that can be inserted into a schematic, and that are then available in the PCB.
