I have a Raspberry Pi foundation 7in touchscreen display that I have used with a Raspberry Pi 3 I bought at the same time. I wanted to switch it over to a new Raspberry Pi Zero v1.3 I just bought, but the ribbon connector doesn’t appear to be the same. The existing ribbon is too wide to fit in the ribbon port on the pi zero. The specs appear to say that the ribbon connector on the pi zero is for a camera, but other things say it can be used for either a camera or display. PRT-23683 is a display ribbon for Pi 5, which appears to be somewhat narrower on one end. Is this the correct ribbon to connect?
It’s a camera port…it won’t output to a display
If you do want a camera for it we do sell the adapter cable
And otherwise I’d just recommend using the Zero’s mini HDMI to a different display if you’d like one for it
I’d like to use that display, which doesn’t appear to have an HDMI in port. Is there a cable that is mini HDMI for the zero, and ribbon for the display?
