Data Logger IOT 9DOF Will Not Detect QWIIC Sensors

I recently received a data logger IOT 9DOF (batch # 168046). When communicating through a terminal window (Tera Term), the logger has not been able to detect any of the QWIIC sensors I have attempted to use (SEN 14722, SEN 1467, and SEN 19662). The only detected devices are the on board sensors (MAX17048 LiPo Battery Fuel Gauge and ISM330 Inertial Measurement Unit).

I have updated the firmware to version 1.2, and attempted connection using a number of different QWIIC cables. I have also tried single sensors attached to the QWIIC connection on the data logger as well as daisy chaining multiple sensors. Each time the sensor LED’s indicate there is power to the sensor, but the sensor is not detected by the logger and no data is being logged from the QWIIC connected sensors.

After no success, I verified that the sensors are functional when connected to an OpenLog Artemis. Is it possible I was sent a faulty data logger.

It definitely sounds like something is up - try a reset Factory Reset - SparkFun DataLogger IoT Hookup Guide and if that doesn’t work let me know

I have tried resetting numerous times and there is no change in this behavior.

you’ve tried multiple factory resets?

Yes. I have performed multiple factory resets in between different attempts at configuring the device and updating firmware. In all instances, the devices show power to the sensors but have never been detected by the data logger.

Alrighty, I found your order…we’ll get a replacement sent out ASAP

Thank you. If it is possible to get that expedited it would be appreciated as I was intending to use the logger immediately.
