Detection beam angle for WRL-14131

Completed near detection tests with the built-in antenna on the Simultaneous RFID Reader M6E Nano. Now getting ready to switch to long-range detections with the WRL-14131. To reduce power requirements, sync reads will be triggered by the PIR motion detector. I’m looking for advise/feedback on this detection beam diagram? The SEN-17372 specs provide for a 90-degree beam angle. I vaguely remember reading somewhere about a 60-degree beam angle for the WRL-14131 antenna?

Thanks in advance

It’s saying the ‘cone’ that the beam forms for the PIR (90) will be larger than the beam that the RFID antenna outputs (60)…this is used to notify the reader that something is approaching its beam area (within the PIR beam-cone)
