The recently retired DEV-00762 was a USB (micro) connected and powered, 5V, GPIO board. We were using only the DOs (Digital Outputs). The board was loaded with a basic interpreter. Looking for a similar board that ideally uses the same type of basic interpreter. The DEV-00762 had 14 available GPIOs. Anything else in the Sparkfun or other product lines that is similar regarding the firmware / gui?
I am not sure about a replacement, but you can find the schematics and firmware for DEV-00762 at http://www.schmalzhaus.com/UBW/index.html

Thank you Mike. That is the solution we will most likely choose. Another we are considering is using the more expensive, but currently available USB 32-Bit Wacker # DEV-09713. Do you happen to know whether the same Basic interpreter / interface is used for that board? Ie, would it likely be seemless for our software guy? Same developer. It does use Basic, just not sure if it is the same Basic.
Unfortunately, I haven’t used either of those.
