I’ve tried following the instructions. When I get to the part where I’m supposed to select the library, that library does not show in the dropdown. Very frustrating.
I suspect that the instructions are a bit out of date.
Can anyone point me at the correct lib so I can get going?
What library are you looking for? The board by itself doesn’t need any libraries to function.
The board does not show up in the dropdown “Select board” unless it’s by some other name.
So I go here and copy this link and paste it in at the bottom of “File”, “Properties” and click OK.
Then:
If you type “sparkfun” (without quotes) into the “filter your search” field, you will see options to install SparkFun’s Apollo3 and AVR board files. Click in the desired box, and click the “Install” button that appears. Once installed, the boards will appear at the bottom of the board list.
So I do all that, then select Pro Micro on Com3(the only port available) and upload the sketch (clock demo from LCD-23453), blinky blinky, and the upload never completes.
I assume I have the wrong library or something…
