Digital Potentiometer & LED bag?

I think that Sparkfun should stock some of these digital potentiometer ic’s. They were on the arduino website and I have wanted to try them for quite some time but I didn’t want to pay separate shipping from another place (mouser) just for a few ic’s.

Here is the link

They used the

AD5206 Digital Potentiometer

I also noticed that Sparkfun sells individual led’s but that they are expensive for even the most basic like $1 for a simple green led. In bulk from mouser or digikey (5000 +) they are super cheap at like $0.06 each so if 100 were sold for $10 that would still be a $4 profit for Sparkfun. So I guess what I am trying to say is that there should be LED bag’s with hundred or so led’s for a reasonable price.

Think of the employee time required to count out 100 LEDS…

Doesn’t look so profitable anymore, now does it ;).

They make part counting scales for a reason
