ESP32 thing wifi antenna problems

Hi. I have been using these for many years. I have been having lots of trouble lately with several boards. I discovered today that touching the chip, sometimes just having the hand or some wires coiled around the antenna side of the chip solves the problem. There seems to be some issue with the antenna. Are you aware of this and do you have some recommendations on what can be done?

That’s pretty odd - how does the soldering on the chip’s pins look? (close-up)

Are they using the same power scheme as the working ones?
