It would be nice to see 2 of the features that were put into the Pocket AVR programmer make it into the FTDI basic breakout boards.

a switch to flip between +5v and 3.3V support.
Another great option would be to sell a cable that allows the FTDI breakout boards to to be used as an AVR ISP programmer.
Yes it would be slow doing bitbanging over USB but it can be done and would be a great option for initially programming a bootloader or setting fuses for the Arduino crowd.
