GeoChron Blue files disappear

I put a newly formatted flash into the GeoChron, turned it on for a few minutes, turned it off, and removed the flash.

After inserting the flash in my Windows XP computer, I edited the GLOGCON.TXT file, as follows:

Mode = 2

Log What = RMC

Time Between Logs = 00:00:00

Holdoff = 15

WAAS = 0

Bluetooth Active = 0

I saved the file, removed the flash, and installed back it into the GeoChron.

With the GeoChron attached to power and the standby switch in the run position, I turned on the device and let it run for a few minutes.

I removed power and waited for the LED to go dark.

Putting the flash back in my computer, there were no files visable.

Disk properties show that 96k of the disk is used, but I cannot see the files.

Any idea what is going on?

try to run defrag on the disk, it worked for me in win xp. I’m having the same issues.

UPDATE, I also had luck by copying a .TXT file to the drive. the drive then displayed the original files.
