Hello,
I am working on a GPS based project and have been exploring some of the SparkFun offerings to help leverage as much as possible and reduce dev time. I am looking at the following two products and I am confused which to get.

They are sold at the same price yet the GeoChrome includes the (~ $60 GPS receiver and has some extra pins from the LPC routed out. The Package Tracker does have some extra sensors. Yet I am unable to justify the price difference. The Geo seems to offer way more for less. What am I missing ? 
Are there similar alternatives at the same price point?
