I recently purchased a Bluegiga WT-12 w/breakout board from Jeff Rowberg, and I’m a bit lost getting started. I’ve managed to establish a connection through the FTDI Basic, and can talk with the iWRAP firmware and have configured it as an HID gamepad (BT CLASS 0x0508), and I’ve paired it with my laptop and it’s properly recognized as an HID gamepad, but I’m now at a loss for where to go next. I have read through the datasheet and the HID Application Notes provided by Bluegiga, but I can’t find anywhere how I actually go about defining the capabilities of the device (2-axis, 4 button gamepad), or setting up the proper raw mode reports. There is quite a bit of documentation for raw mode reports for a keyboard application, but not for a gamepad. Does anybody have any experience with this module that can give me a good place to start?

Looks like iWRAP5 just released with added support for gamepad HID profiles. I’m looking in to it more now.
