I have the USB even outboard for the GM 862 – GPS. I’m using a T-Mobile prepaid Sim card. I have been able to configure and set up the modem receive and make calls from the modem but when I try to configure the event monitor or the smsatrun I get an error.I know I’m missing something stupid but I’ve been through the instructions in the app notes several times and seem to be missing something. Any help or scripts would be greatly appreciated

Well it has taken almost a week I finally found the problem. After stumping Spark fun support I contacted tilit directly. After three days and several follow-up e-mails I finally received a reply, the problem is simple those features are not available on that model in North America. In doing my research before choosing to purchase two of these modules with eval boards. I checked the documentation all the documentation states that it is applicable to the GM862-GPS. Those features are only available on the GE865- Quad and the GE864 Quad V2 the GC864 Quad V 2. a very expensive lesson well learned I would have serious reservations using Telit for a production project.
