GM862-GPS Breakout Board and ADC

Hi all,

I’ve got a GM862-GPS module with the basic breakout board from Sparkfun, according to Telit documentation this module has a single ADC which is brought out on pin 6. However this doesn’t appear to exist on the breakout board and instead is replaced by GND. Does anyone know if this is a mistake and the ADC is actually the GND pin or has the ADC line not be brought out.

I just checked my board and it is actually connected to ground. It looks like they made a mistake.

This mistake was also made by Round Solutions on the first versions of the S3 board.

You will have to cut the track and add a flying wire. When you do get it sorted you will then find that the ADC is very very slow.
