Telit 862-Gps - ADC reading

Hi

i’m using this to read the ADC pin on my Telit 862-Gps with the Sparkfun Eval usb board.

ChargerVolt=GPIO.getADC(2)

I keep getting the same result (1552) no matter if the ADC pin is floating or grounded…

what am i doing wrong ?

problem solved, the Sparkfun eval board had a short circuit to gnd (shorted “cut pad”)
