Good/cheap Radar sensors

Hello,

I’m working on a project in which I have an autonomous module follow another module and I’m looking to use radar or lidar sensors to measure the distance between them, maybe with a range of 30-50 meters max. What radar or lidar sensors that are under $1000 should I use?

Lidar-Lite from PulsedLight3D works very well. Around $100.

Second the Lidar-Lite comment. However, they’ve gone dark since they were acquired by Garmin early this year.
