I’d like to build my own Bluetooth GPS, using a Copernicus DIP GPS module and a BlueSMiRF Gold.
The BlueSMiRF takes TTL input. I couldn’t find in the documentation for the GPS unit whether the output is at RS-232 levels, TTL levels, or something else.
Can I link these two straight together, or would I need a converter of some sort? Does a Roving Networks bluetooth modem need a converter? What’s the difference between the Roving Networks modem and the BlueSMiRF?
