I’m using the ID-20 RFID reader with the breakout board … only, I didn’t notice when I bought the thing that the breakout came with a buzzer… and apparently its default state is to beep rapidly the moment it’s plugged in to the moment it’s unplugged. I’m doing this in a lab with other people … can someone tell me a quick way to turn off the buzzer before everyone in my lab goes insane?? @.@

We just provide a breakout for the ID-20 really. It’s not programmed to do anything special. The best advice is to cut a trace or desolder the beeper as suggested.
That being said, it shouldn’t be beeping rapidly. It only beeps for a second when it recognizes an RFID.
