I am a new to this. I have done easier mods on my PSP but nothing like replacing the whole screen with a new one.
This is the question. → Is there any good tutorial videos on replacing the PSP screen and adding the touch screen? :?: If you don’t know any videos and written one might work as well.
Hey Brutal,
There is probably a tutorial on google of how to replace the PSP screen, however, the touchscreen is NOT a PSP Touch Screen!! It is only called a “PSP Touch Screen” in the store because it can fit with the LCD the PSP uses.
The real PSP does NOT support a touch screen.

Yea I know it doesn’t support the touch screen, but I was reading around the net and there are people working on the software for it. So I will wait to see if anything comes out of that. Thanks for the Help!
Instead of replacing the screen, I would assume that you would just install a touchscreen overlay.

Of course you can make a circuit that would read the touchscreen and emulate the nubby.
To install the touchscreen you just put it over the PSP’s LCD. The PSP doesn’t have a connector for it so you’ll have to make your own little PCB board with the connector and circuit to read it and output.
