I noticed that Sparkfun is selling the [PSP touch screen overlay, which is relatively inexpensive.
Does anyone know where to purchase larger touch screens (with or without a controller) for a low price? It seems that a 15" touch screen overlay kit runs over $100, which doesn’t seem worth the price… you can buy a used touch monitor on e-Bay for less than that.
Touch screens are used quite a bit in consumer electronics, it doesn’t seem like it makes sense that the touch component itself would be so expensive.
Any ideas?
