Hide resistor values in the silkscreen?

I have a number of resistors on my board. Right now they all have a value that is printed next to them. This is what I want except for the ones where the value on the silkscreen layer obscures other values or otherwise gets interrupted by vias, IC pins, and whatnot. Is there a way I can disable that value printing for only certain parts, without building a custom package variant in my library and replacing the affected resistors in my schematic and rerouting? I can’t make it blank because that eliminates the value on the schematic.

I just want a way to like, disable it for only a few parts. Thanks!

It depends on your PCB software. With the Pulsonix software I use I can enable or disable the display of attributes like component values for any part. Simply deleting it on a part in the PCB editor is the quickest way. It’s probably the same for other packages.

Assuming you’re using Eagle, use the smash tool on the components in question to separate names and values and from there you can move or delete them.
