How to daisy chain multiple QWIIK board

Hello folks,

I do not understand the meaning of this sentence I found in every QWIIK board’s page:

“As a general rule of thumb, disable all but one pair of pull-up resistors if multiple devices are connected to the bus. To disable the pull up resistors, use an X-acto knife to cut the joint between the two jumper pads highlighted below.”

Here’s an example image.

Which one of the following is true if I have 3 boards connected?

  1. I have to cut one of the joints (not two) on every board

  2. I have to cut two joints on every board but one (that is, in my case, on two boards out of three)

Thank you!

You need to make two cuts on all of the boards but one. It doesn’t matter which board has the pullups still connected.

It worked, thank you!
