How to detect oil leaks using a thermal camera

Hi,

I am looking for suggestion on what board/modules to use to detect oil leaks using a thermal camera. The system would also need to have a cellular module.

I don’t think a thermal camera is going to work very well for detecting oil leaks, the oil is probably going to be at or close to the same temperature as the rest of the machine it’s being used at and won’t really show up. If it’s puddling on the ground a thermal camera might show that, but a regular camera would too.
