How to use the wheel encoder kit

In my programing and coding class we use the shadow chassis, ardumoto shield kit paired with and arduino uno.

We have successfully coded the IR sensor and HR sensor but need help with the wheel encoder kits.

Can you help with schematics and code to get the car running

Hi msantos,

We use these encoders in our [Inventor’s Kit for the RedBot and have instructions on how to wire them up in the [RedBot Assembly Guide. While it’s not specifically for the Ardumoto, [this example from the RedBot Experiment Guide should work to integrate it with the Ardumoto Shield.
