Looks like they discontinued it, probably will never be available.
This product has been retired from our catalog and is no longer for sale.
Hi,
okay good to know and thanks for the update!.
Does anyone know if there are any breakout boards available for the ADS122C04 that I could use for RDS measurement?
Hi @Josh9 ,
It’s an expensive option, but there’s always the TI evaluation board. Link below. Please check the User Guide before you purchase; make sure it will do what you need it to do before you spend that kind of money.
Mouser have 3 in stock - at an even higher price…
I hope this helps,
Paul
Hi,
thanks for the help!
It’s a bit too large and overengineered for my needs. It includes a full MCU with everything built in, which requires installing drivers and using a GUI application on my PC to communicate with it. I think it’s a great option if you want to experiment with various measurement configurations and explore temperature resistance measurements in more depth.
What I’m really looking for is just the RTD circuit with a digital interface that can connect directly to my MCU. Something simple, like the Qwiic PT100-ADS122C04, would be ideal.
No worries @Josh9 ,
I was quite sad when that board was retired. It filled a niche. But the sales weren’t high enough to justify the setup, machine, assembly and test time for another board run.
You are of course welcome to make your own. The PCB Gerber files are all on GitHub. And the components can all be soldered by hand - if you’re careful. Solder wick is your friend when removing shorts between the IC pins.
Or, if you want to head into unknown territory, there is one seller on Alibaba who say they stock the SPX-16770. They are almost certainly clones. But…
Best,
Paul
It’s a long shot, but if you send the board files and BOM to someone like PCBWay or Advanced Circuits, they might be able to make you a few.
