Hi, I can’t get my new IOIO OTG board to communicate with my Android tablet via USB ( using the supplied OTG cable ) or via Bluetooth. I have managed to flash the board with the latest firmware version using IOIOdude, so the board is alive, however I suspect there is a hardware issue with the micro USB connector on the board as I have to apply pressure on the OTG cable connection and hold it in a certain spot to get the power on light on the USB dongle to light. It seems to work fine with standard micro USB cable to my MAC, but does not like the OTG cable.
It sounds like it’s functional but has a bad cable; if you purchased the unit from us, head over to www.sparkfun.com/returns and we can get it sorted out
