I have a cnc router running mach3 Normally the ac controlled outlets control the spindle. I have a low power laser that I want to mount to the gantry. The laser is 12v.
I have an AC to DC converter but the lag is too slow to use with a laser I need instant on and off. So I was thinking is it possible to have a relay that uses 120v ac for the trigger??
I would have a 120v A/C coming from the mach3 controlled outlet to a device that had a 12 v dc in and a 12v dc out. The AC would trigger the 12v to flow through and I would have an instant on / off for my 12V that would be controlled in Mach3
If not anyone got an idea to make this work? Thanks
