I don’t understand how to insert the motor wires into the green wire block. The black end is larger than the wire block opening. TIA

Hi Dennis.
It looks like you’re trying to connect the Qwiic cable to the motor terminals rather than the motors. The motors should have 2 wires each with a male pin on the end of each wire.
