Hello,
How could i keep the date and time for the next reboot?
The board seems to need a backup batery, if so, how could i do it?
Any help would be apreciated!

xfinger, you’re going to have to be more explicit. Exactly what do you mean by “keep the date and time for the next reboot?” Do you want to reboot at some specified date? Do you want to store the date a reboot occurs? Do you want to have a hardware clock so the computer remembers the time while it is off?
Hi troy,
I would like to set date and if the board is reset or reboot the linux read the date from this RTC backed battery.
I know linux 2.6 has support for the Intersil ISL 1208 and i would like to attach the ISL 1208 with a battery.
I wonder if someone has done it for the CS-9302 and how to wire it.
I mean, do you have any schema
or the exact pinout to EECLK and EEDAT and how it should be soldered?
Thanks
Per Intersil’s web site, it has the “Same Pin Out as ST M41Txx and Maxim DS13xx Devices” so you might also search for information on those. I’ve never done this, though I’m curious.
