Latency of Logic Level Converter - Single Supply

Hi, can anyone give some comments regarding the latency issue of SparkFun Logic Level Converter - Single Supply? What is the range of the latency for this product? Since my application includes the amplification of the output voltage from NI myRio from 3.3V to 5V, and I hope this product can constrain the latency within 50 nano seconds or even smaller, is that possible? Thank you very much.

Hi Joanna.

Unfortunately it’s never been tested for latency so we don’t have a figure for that but since it works with SPI on the Arduino, the board can switch at at least 4MHz. It’s quite possible it will go faster than that but we just don’t know how much faster.

Chris, thank you very much for your reply. If it can work well with 4MHz application, then the latency should be much lower than 250 ns. Hopefully this product will work well for my application.

Thanks and have a nice day!
