Layers inversion problem with DRC Bot

Hello everybody,

I got a little problem when i submit my files to BatchPCB.

It seems it doesn’t recognize well the different layers. Even if I tell the correct layers, it makes an inversion between the Top Silkscreen and the Top Soldermask.

So when i tell this:

[<LINK_TEXT text=“http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/8337 … ib7.th.jpg”>http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/8337/capture01ib7.th.jpg</LINK_TEXT>

I got this:

http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/5028 … plgnp2.png

And when i make the inversion myself, i tell this:

[<LINK_TEXT text=“http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/6350 … ag6.th.jpg”>http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/6350/capture02ag6.th.jpg</LINK_TEXT>

I got this:

http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/5809 … plglp2.png

And the second one seems to be the good one.

So my question is:

Is there a problem with the rendering, or have I screwed something? Do I have to do the inversion myself?

Thanks for your help!

Hi;

I can’t speak for the way the current bot works; but when I was there it detected the layers by filename:

The convention is GTO: top silk

GTS: top solder

It sounds like your cad program is spitting those out swapped; so the bot picks them up backwards.

Thanks for your answer!

But this is the way my files are named!

That’s the problem, the automatic detection is good, but when I got the rendered pictures of how my board will look like, it seems the bot does an inversion…

Odd; that you’ll have to talk to SFE about.

Hello,

I’ve talked to SFE, and apparently it’s only a problem of rendering.

So, to everyone who have the same problem, keep the layers as they should be, discard the render, and everything will be good!

And thanks for the help!
