Lipo Battery question

Hello all

I have a project that I want to run off of a Lithium Ion Battery - 2Ah and my overall current is around half an amp. The biggest draw is a laser module that is pulling around 250 to 300 mA and a voltage of 3-3.7. Then I have some led’s and basic circuitry all low current but needs 5v.

I have the 5v side figured out, I was gonna use either Spark Fun’s Lipo Charger/Booster or Adafruit’s PowerBoost 1000 Charger - Rechargeable. Which has all the protection I need.

So my question is the Laser, (Please excuse some ignorance most of my circuity knowledge is self taught along side the university of youtube), originally I was thinking of adding Adafruit’s LM3671 3.3V Buck Converter to the 5v supply after the boost up from the battery but this seams inefficient. I was also thinking of connecting directly to the battery with a mosfet from the logic side of things for control but I still would like to protect the battery. I cannot seam to find a circuit that does just this for a 3-3.7 v. Most things I find boost to 5v that also protects the battery.

Final question, does anyone know how i can protect two different Boost circuits to the battery? (Adafruit PowerBoost 500/1000 and possably Spark fun’s Boost converter set for 3.3v)

Final Final Question, Gladly take any advice to make this simpler?

Thank you in advance for you time!

I’m not sure I understand the plan, can you share a diagram or infographic of the prospective setup?
