I am trying to implement the project mentioned in this page, but I need help with the load cell circuit. I dont understand what has been donw with the load cell amplifier here. Any help would be great.
The AD620 is an instrumentation amp, used to amplify very small signals. R4 sets the gain and the DC voltage from U1A is used to add an offset voltage to the output. R6 and C4 form a low pass filter and U13B is a unity gain buffer (same as U1A) that provides a low impedance (resistance) signal source to go into the ADC.
