looking for a premade cable

I am needing to add a button to a project, it is a kerchan sad0705k monitor and it has the ability to add buttons to it to control video playback. To get a button from them will cost me too much in shipping, they will not use anything but DHL. attached is the photo of the plugs, 4 connectors, would like to find a cable that would hook into this, so I can add a button to it. any ideas? thanks

Are those pins .1" apart or 10 feet apart… I can’t tell.

the white socket is just under 3/8 inch wide pins are approx .1 apart

this: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13149 is the matching cable. That one doesn’t have the shroud keyed but it would still fit if the pin pitch is right. Or here: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9916 is one that does have the shroud keyed. Check the data sheets for more details.

It looks like the first two links are to connectors with 1.5mm pitch (~0.059 inch) and the last link is to a JST connector with a link to a JST datasheet that describes the pitch as 2mm (~0.079 inch).

I could be wrong in my evaluation though …

I was able to order the 13149, it is too small. the 9916 is backordered, so I don’t know about it, I will keep looking

found the other one somewhere else, going to try it

From your picture, the 2mm pitch looks to be correct. So when SparkFun gets more in that might be the one. Alternatively, Digi-Key sells the housing (455-1164-ND) and pins (455-2148-1-ND) but you would need to make up the cable yourself.
