LoRaSerial device not responding

I recently purchased a LoRaSerial kit. They seemed to be working as expected, but now one of the devices is not responding to a “+++” on the serial port. The red power LED is on and the blue LED is also on and get bright when serial traffic passes through from the USB connection. Holding the train button to factory reset doesn’t seem to help.

Any recommendations?

Are you holding reset > 10 secs?

Run through the guide https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_LoRaSerial/training/ to see if maybe they’re stuck in diff modes, and as a last-chance try updating the firmware and circling back to the beginning…any change?

Yes, I was holding the reset > 10 seconds. It looks like it was deprogrammed somehow. It looks related to it being used on a Linux computer - I have not tracked down what is causing this yet. One thing that I am noting that is strange is that it is connecting/disconnecting fairly regularly. Here is some dmesg output showing this behavior:

I’m not Linux expert, but it looks like it might be trying to mount the SD card as a drive, disconnecting the USB controller? Can you try a PC or Mac and report if any similar errors appear?
