Hi,

Please take a look at my “50 ohm” micostripline in the picture.

It turns out to be more tricky than I had expected.

The pcb trace connects a gsm module to a U.FL connector.

According to my calculations the track width should be 2.84 mm, the track in the picture is 1.02 mm.

Because of the short distance and surrounding paths, I don’t see how to make it 2.84 mm. How does one do that?

I wouldn’t worry about it, due to the short length. If it was a long track, I’d widen it where possible, but that isn’t the case here.

Makes sense, in the end the chip bond doesn’t have the 110 mils neither :slight_smile:
