Hi, could you help me with a technical information, please. What is the range of electrical resistance in which the moisture sensor is operating (sensing-wise). What is the resistance that is leading to the result “zero”? andn which to 800 or 1000 ? Is there an option to modify the sensor so that it is capable of measuring in the range of 1-3 MOhms? Thank you in advance Robert PS Background is, that I am looking for an option to estimate water content in wood (approx 0,5-3 MOhms)
To ascertain the correlated measured resistance, you’d need to test the object with a multimeter and calibrate the moisture sensor readings against the measured resistance
The device has a 10k resistor on the probe1, and 100 on probe2 https://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sen … Sensor.pdf - you can change the to give useful values for your targeted range
