MP3 Trigger SD Card files are not seen by Trigger

I have a working MP3 Trigger installed with a 8g Micro SD Card. It works great.

I went to set up a second Trigger exactly the same but the copy of the SD Card is not working with the Trigger.

It should be an exact copy, I have repeated the copy steps 3 times on 2 different cards. Same result: 1 long blink, followed by 1 short blink - microSD media found, no MP3 files located

On a Windows 10 computer

Made a backup copy of the working SD Card using copy / paste into a new directory

Formatted the new 8g SD Card FAT32, successful

Copy all the files from the backup to the new card

Put that card in the Trigger, power up, status light “1 long blink, followed by 1 short blink - microSD media found, no MP3 files located”

1 long blink, followed by 1 short blink - microSD media found, no MP3 files located

Three times in a row. Two different 8g cards.

Am I missing something?

In case it matters, I have windows file explorer set to show hidden files.

Bring this back up. Still have the problem.

It’s not completely clear from your description where the issue lies. You have more than one MP3 Trigger and more than one microSD card, correct?

Does the problem follow the cards or the MP3 Trigger? Does your “good” MP3 Trigger work with the new card? Does the “bad” MP3 Trigger work with the old (good) card?

Yes, 2 triggers, 3 cards. Both triggers work with the one card, but neither trigger worked with either of the 2 8g cards I copied to.

However, I just got in new cards, and the first one I copied to works fine.

Unusual for 2 of them to not work correctly.
