Music Instrument Shield

Hi, I am doing a music project by using the Music Instrument Shield.

I have tried to let the Music Instrument Shield play different melody but I found that it 's sound are all similar when I played different note. And some instrument have strange sound compare with original instrument.

Can anyone help me to deal with this problem? Thank you.

This product has plenty of quirks. I would suggest you read through the comments on the product page here:

It could be that your notes are too short. It could also be the MIDI player you might be using.

Have you tried using the example code? Does it seem to sound right when used?
