Now that my servo situation is sorted out I’m happy to share what I’ve created, utilizing a Sparkfun Servo Trigger. The idea is to show either a touchscreen or an old school radio inside my 66 dart. Ignition will be a trigger but also will be using a button for changing on the fly.
I still need to reprint the radio bracket to get rid of the warping, but the mechanics are solid!
I had a 1968 Plymouth Satellite 2D/HT as my first car in the mid 90s. It had an AM radio with a single speaker in the dash, a 4x10" that was completely dry rotted away to dust. I made a little room in the glovebox by cutting out the fiberboard rear and stuck a sweet tape deck in there. Some speakers sat on the package tray and some subwoofers were in the trunk, pretty stylin’. There were …some rattles, lol.
