n00b in layout but need parts

hello,

i am a n00b in PCB layout, i am using Pulsonix.

also i want to use N Mosfet PHT4NQ10LT (SOT223) in my layout and schematic.

This part must somewhere exist on the internet in a form that i can simply download somehow into a folder on my computer and then i can just use it from there.?

do you know how i may do this?

-or do i have to painstakingly draw it with the mouse

Why do you keep posting Pulsonix-related questions to this forum? The Pulsonix forum is the correct place!

It’s best to learn how to create your own models and symbols. You will never find every one you need, and it’s a lot faster and more reliable than hoping someone has already done so.

I haven’t used Pulsonix, but the process isn’t too hard in any of the other packages that I use (ExpressPCB, KiCad, and Allegro)

It’s actually very easy in Pulsonix. The OP is a wally!

SOT223’s have an extremely simple land pattern, full stop.

Also a good part to learn to draw with…

It’s actually in the Pulsonix footprint library, and the symbol is in the symbol library. All the OP has to do is associate them with the Part Editor and name the pins; it shouldn’t take him more than one minute!
