Newbie question about routing gnd signals.

Hello All,

I am looking at the Sparkfun eagle files for the Pro Micro board, and I don’t understand how the ground connections are made. I have highlighted the ground signals in the schematic and I can see the ground pins and several vias, but, as you can see from the picture, they are not routed anywhere. I assume these are routed to a ground plane. How can view this ground plane, and how can I add something like this to my own designs? I have seen tutorials explaining the use of the polygon tool but this board does not seem to have any such copper wells anywhere.

The eagle files can be found here.

Type “ratsnest;” or hit the ratsnest button, if you can remember what that looks like. When you first load up a board, polygons only show as dotted? outlines. Ratsnest will fill them in.

Damn, you’re right. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

Just further explanation, they are created using polygon pours, so the dotted lines are the outline for the pour. Just FYI
