It looks like you selected SPI by closing the jumper, but then changed your mind and opened it again?
u-blox modules can be a bit ‘tricky’ when going into and out of SPI mode. The posts linked below may be useful. Read the whole thing - especially this post.
To get your modules communicating again, you may need to reset the module via UART with a UART-USB cable and u-center - and probably put it into SAFEBOOT mode first.
I bought a USB to UART (and made sure it was 3.3V) cable and checked on U-Center, and the module doesn’t show up at all. I can select the COM port, but no data is being sent or received. I did solder the SPI jumper closed on this one, then desoldered it after deciding I2C would be easier for wiring. I’ve tried booting while pulling SFBOOT low, but there are no changes there. There just seems to be nothing outputting from the module at all.
Open the View \ Messages View
Open the View \ Packet Console
Connect your UART cable to the ZOE breakout:
GND → GND
TX → RXI
RX ← TXO
Leave 3V3 unconnected
Use an extra jumper wire to connect the SFBOOT pad to GND
Now connect 3V3 → 3V3
Now remove the SFBOOT jumper wire
Check the red PWR LED is lit
