My Artemis Open Logger doesn’t power on when it’s on battery, only over USB. The battery is charged at 3.6v and the low voltage cut off is set to 3v.
I had a breif bit of life when the low voltage cutout was set to 3.4 but it stopped shortly after that.
I’ve verified the pins on the board are receiving voltage.
Is the board dead or am I missing a setting in software somewhere?

I just probed my 5v rail and it only has 1.1v… I take it the MCP73831 has crapped out.
Will the conformal coating I added void my warranty? : /
It depends; is there any chance you can remove the coating to ensure it isn’t the cause of a short?

I unfortunately cannot remove it but I did probe through it to ensure there were no shorts.
The only deviation from the schematic I could find was that pin 3 and 4 has a resistance of 4.7ish kOhm between them and that the capacitance between pin 2 and 3 was 7.7ish uF
Each pin had a few megaOhms of resistance between them.
Alrighty, go ahead and fill out the form here Returns - SparkFun Electronics and we’ll get ya goin’

I’m in the process currently.
They seem to be in disbelief since this board is a replacement for a previously defective board.
I guess I’m just lucky like that.
Lol I can relate!
I found your case, I’ll get it going
