Yesterday I changed the antenna on my base station to an Ardusimple Survey Grade calibrated antenna and changed the antenna type from TRM 57971.00 NONE to AS-ANT3B-CAL-01 NONE. When I do that my Trimble devices to not get an RTK fix. If I change the type back to the TRM description or NONE then it works perfectly. It is my understanding that Trimble receivers need to see message 1008 but the contents of it are not important. What causes this?
Trimble is only recognizing official IGS antenna (which calibration is available in igs14.atx file, see [details). I assume that AS-ANT3B-CAL-01 is not part of the list. Instead, you should configure your base with ADVNULLANTENNA.](https://igs.org/wg/antenna/)
