Openlog Artemis

Hi, all. New to here.

I am using the Sparkfun OpenLog Artemis. I have the onbard realtime battery installed. When I powered the board with an external power supply, sometime, the board won’t boot into datalogging. It kind of stuck there and draws about 10mA current. This never happened before without the onboard button battery installed. It looks the system won’t wake up from sleep.

I should have probed the reset signals etc. Before that, I just ask around here. Also, the board has no designators on silkscreen. Does anyone have an assembly drawing or something similar? It’s not easy to locate components on the board. Thanks.

Hi,

Please have a look at this section of the hook-up guide:

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/op … iderations

Once in deep sleep, the Artemis can only be woken by:

an RTC alarm for long logging intervals

a reset caused by:

Pressing the RST button or pulling the RST breakout pin low

Attaching USB-C (opening USB-C serial communication automatically triggers a reset)

You can download the Eagle files for the circuit board. Those will show you the component positions.

I hope this answers your question?

Best wishes,
